Delete Your Pop Account
This page explains how to delete your Pop account, what data is removed, what is briefly retained, and for how long. Pop is operated by Leaptory Tech Limited, a Hong Kong limited company.
1. In-App Deletion (recommended)
- Open the Pop application on your mobile device.
- Navigate to Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Type
DELETEto confirm. - Re-authenticate with your password or with a one-time SMS code.
- Tap Permanently Delete.
Once you confirm, your account is removed from our active production systems immediately.
2. Email Request
If you cannot access the application, send an email from the address you registered with — or include your registered phone number in E.164 format (e.g., +85291234567) — to info@leaptory.com with the subject line "Delete my Pop account". We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 5 business days.
3. What Is Deleted Immediately
- Profile data: display name, avatar, biography, MBTI, date of birth, location label, interests, links.
- All Pops and timetable slot schedules you have created.
- All direct messages you have sent or received.
- Friend relationships, mute lists, hide lists, and block lists.
- Push notification tokens.
- Avatar images stored in our object storage.
- All active sign-in sessions. Refresh tokens are revoked.
4. What Is Briefly Retained

5. Important: Deletion Is Irrevocable
Account deletion is permanent and irrevocable. Once we have processed your request, we cannot recover your account, your Pops, your messages, or any other data — even if you change your mind, even at the request of customer support.
6. Data Retention Required by Law
We may be legally required to retain certain personal data beyond the periods listed above to comply with court orders, regulatory investigations, anti-fraud measures, or other applicable laws.

8. Language and Authoritative Version
The English version is the authoritative and legally binding version. If there is any conflict, ambiguity, or discrepancy between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail in all respects.
